CPS Ministries

As a missionary congregation, our sisters are involved in a great variety of ministries throughout the world, including parish/pastoral work, social work, all levels of education, domestic science, medicine, dentistry, aids ministry, retreat work, hospital chaplaincy, catechetics, art, and youth ministry.  All gifts and talents can be used in our mission of spreading the Gospel.

 

In the United States and Canada, we are presently involved in hospital chaplaincy, education, social work, medicine, art, ministry to the specially challenged, care of the elderly, and retreat ministry in our Mariawald Renewal Center. In the US we minister in Reading, PA, Bethlehem, PA, and Louisa, KY.

 

Women who feel called by God to join us in our mission will find many ways to use their gifts and talents.

Sr. Judith Filorimo works as a hospital chaplain at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Reading.

Sr. Susan Makhetha uses her culinery skills to provide delicious meals for the community and the many retreatants and guests who come to Mariawald Renewal Center.

Using her artistic talents, Sr. Diane

Stromberg creates beautiful cards, banners, and various types of  crafts and artwork.

Numerous community matters always keep Sr. Margaret Teufer, our local superior, very busy.
