Called to be valiant, joyful women of faith, we, the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood, are sent to witness to the life-giving Blood of Christ flowing through us, and in total surrender to the Spirit, make ourselves available to the ever-changing needs of our neighbor.
An international community, we are involved in active ministry in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.
Our North American Province includes the United States and Canada. We are located in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, New York, and Toronto.
Our congregation’s initials, CPS, are taken from the Latin: Congregatio Pretiosi Sanguinis. |

In 1885, our Founder, Abbot Francis Pfanner, was looking for valiant, joyful women of faith to help him in the work of spreading the Gospel.
The world still needs VALIANT, JOYFUL WOMEN OF FAITH to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ!
Our Co-foundress, Mother Paula Emunds, CPS, encourages us to “Dare the Utmost!” in seeking and following God’s will. |
